The Perfect Baked Potato
Baked potatoes are a wondrous thing. They can be topped with almost anything.
Ingredients:
Spuds (As many as needed)
Olive
Oil
Kosher Salt
- Hand scrub potatoes
- Dry thoroughly
- Pierce 1/8" to 1/4" with fork (6 times each)
- Lightly coat with Olive Oil (all sides)
- Sprinkle with Kosher Salt
- Preheat oven to 350° to 375°
- Place Potatoes on oven rack
- Bake for one hour*
- For crispy skin, increase oven temp to 425°after one hour at 350° for additional 20 minutes
- Garnish as needed
- Consume
You will find that this approach yields a slightly crispy skin and a buttery interior.
