Costa Rican Calamari
When grilled correctly, Calamari (squid) is tender and delicious. Marinated in the traditional Central and South American style, this Two Guys Grilling© version is partially Ceviche, partially Grilled Calamari.
2 Lb Frozen Calamari Rings - Defrosted
3 Tbs Fresh Lime
Juice
3 Tbs XVOO
4 Tbs Fresh Cilantro - Finely Chopped
4 Tsp
Minced Garlic
1-½ Tsp TGG© Mediterranean Sea Salt
¼ Tsp Raw Cane
Sugar
1 cup Onion Finely Chopped
1 Tsp Dry Mexican Oregano
½ Tsp TGG© Fine Ground White Pepper
¼ Tsp TGG© Chile Cayenne
Molido
Combine Lime Juice Through Molido in large Bowl
Whisk to
Thoroughly Combine
Introduce Calamari Rings to Bowl
Stir to
Coat
Allow to Rest 5 Minutes
Remove from Bowl, Drain, Spritz with
XVOO to Lubricate
Preheat Grill
Grill 30 seconds to 1 Minute, Turn
Over
Grill 30 seconds to 1 Minute
Remove to Serving Platter
If you allow this Calamari entree to marinate more than five
