Pizza On The Grill
A fun one for kids of all ages, this gets the family outdoors. More of a technique than a recipe, I developed this one for my kids when they were pretty young.
Ingredients:
1 Tube Refrigerated Biscuits
(The
bigger the biscuit, the bigger the pizza)
1 Jar Pasta Sauce
Your
Favorite Grated Cheese
Your Favorite Toppings
- Open biscuit tube and separate biscuits
- Place biscuit between oiled sheets of waxed paper (spray with olive oil or Pam)
- Roll flat
- Repeat until all are flat
- Place pizza crusts on a grill at med heat for about 1 to 2 min
- Grill until marks are visible on the bottom
- Remove from grill
- Place sauce, cheese, and toppings on the grilled side of pizza crust
- Return to grill raw side down
- Cook until done (1 to 3 minutes)
Variations of this technique are endless. Works well with pita bread, Boboli® and almost any thick or thin, flat bread.
This can also be done on a hot griddle on the grill.
