Vegan Refried Beans
Brother Ben (the Rabbi) is always looking for additional recipes for his culinary bandolero. Load this one brother!!! If it doesn�t shoot directly to your tongue, add some Habanero (Arrrr)!
1 16 oz can Vegan Black Beans (Rinsed and Drained)
1 16 oz can
Vegan Pinto Beans (Rinsed and Drained)
1 16 oz can Vegan Black Eyed
Peas (Rinsed and Drained)
1 Large Onion (Peeled, chopped and sauteed in
olive oil)
1 Tbs Dry Chopped Onion
3 Tbsp Fresh Chopped Garlic
1
Tsp Dry Mexican Oregano
1/2 Tsp Dry Cayenne Chile
1/2 Tsp Dry New
Mexico Chile
1 Tsp Dry Pasilla Chile
Sautee Onion in large pan until limp
Add Beans
Add all
Spices
Simmer
A little spicy, just the way my sister-in-law Catherine likes
it.
If dry, add a little water or vegetable stock.
